Dealing with Unwanted Behaviors: Kids can be defiant, meltdown, yell, or cry for various reasons. But what if we approached these situations with preparation rather than dread? Our responses can either escalate or de-escalate the situation, influencing the frequency of repeated behaviors.

It's about responding as a leader who understands the child's emotions without getting entangled in the battle. The goal is to be empathetic, firm, and confident without letting every behavior affect the parent-child relationship.
