Welcome to the Thursday edition of “It’s Another Day with Jim and Bill”. Late yesterday afternoon, former New Jersey Governor and beach enthusiast Chris Christie made the not-so-surprising announcement that he was suspending his Presidential campaign because he could no longer see a pathway to the Oval Office. This would imply that at one time he could see that pathway…that was the biggest surprise of the announcement. Political advisors who initially encouraged his participation must have been doing it for the money because the most casual observer could have told him months ago that his options we slim and none. But in the true Chris Christie tradition he couldn’t leave without poking the Bear one more time. He had to zing former President Trump as he was walking out the door. And then there was the hot mic situation yesterday when he said that Nikki Haley was going to get smoked. Sounds like a guy with anger issues. We talk about this and much more on a very busy program.
