US Market Close 8 Mar 18: US stocks stage late recovery

US markets finished mixed on Wednesday, with the Dow Jones easing by just 0.3% and the S&P500 index ending flat. The market was down as much as 1.2% at one stage due to the surprise resignation of President Trump’s top economic adviser, Gary Cohn yesterday.
