European Parliament Considers Cap on CO2 Emissions on New Heavy Duty Vehicles

New targets to cut CO2 emissions from heavy vehicles are being considered by the European Parliament. 

The proposals would target large new vehicles like trucks and buses. 

It is one of a number of measures being considered to tackle pollution across the transport sector.
