Episode #4632 – Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord

Fr. Anthony with Tony, and Cristina gather to discuss the goings on, and people in the Parish.  Today is the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord. Father Anthony focuses on the reading of the feast day today.  Father Anthony stressing that the mass is a perpetuation of the sacrifice of the cross in the sense that it offers [Jesus] anew to God, and thus commemorates the sacrifice of the cross reenacting it symbolically and mystically, and applies the fruits of Christ’s death upon the cross to individual human souls.
