Mid-Session 20 Mar 19: Volatile start to trade

The Australian sharemarket is falling for the seventh time in nine days due mostly to heavy falls from local mining stocks and reports that China is pushing back against US trade demands. WiseTech (WTC), Synlait (SM1), Eclipx (ECX) and Nufarm (NUF) are other under-performers.
