On April 4th, we were joined by the president of Estonia Alar Karis for an evening about, among other things, the security situation in the Baltics and future cooperation in the region.
The moderator of the evening was Dr. Anamaria Dutceac Segesten who holds a PhD in political sciences from the University of Maryland and is currently an Associate Professor in European studies and strategic communications at SOL.
How is Estonia going to proceed when Russia’s becoming increasingly hostile towards its neighbours? How might the security relationship with Sweden pan out when the Nato ratification process is complete? These were some of the questions discussed during the evening.
The evening was held at the Lund University Aula and ended with a Q&A with the audience.
