New month, new theme. We’ve set May aside to put together an event we’re calling ‘Why Can’t We Be Friends: A Treatise on the Buddy Cop Movie’ where we’re going to deep dive into one of our favorite sub-genres of action stupidity, movies where cops who don’t like each other are forced to team up and then learn to love. It’s Spring, and love is in the air, after all. First up is maybe the most star-studded buddy cop movie of all time, 1989’s Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell team-up, TANGO & CASH.
