Mid-Session 16 Feb 22: Tentative move higher for the ASX 200

The Australian sharemarket is moving higher cautiously following a strong lead from Wall Street and hopes Russia and Ukraine could avoid military conflict. Iron ore miners are pushing lower due to a 9% slump in iron ore prices while shares in most companies out with earnings are lifting.
