One — President Biden is set to host congressional leaders Tuesday to discuss funding for Ukraine, and ways to avoid a government shutdown. Speaker Mike Johnson, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries will be on hand according to the White House.
Two— It is a little more expensive to fill the gas tank this week in the state. Triple-A Michigan says the average gas price is up four-cents a gallon to three-dollars-25-cents. The price is up 26-cents in the past month and five-cents less than last year. The most expensive gas is in Lansing, Saginaw, and Ann Arbor at three-27, while Marquette has the lowest price in Michigan at three-ten.
And number three — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says total victory is within reach once its operation in Rafah is completed. Speaking on CBS' Face the Nation, Netanyahu said the military operation involves evacuating Palestinian civilians from Rafah. Netanyahu defined victory as destroying all Hamas battalions along with freeing all the hostages.
