Mid-Session 15 Dec 2021: ASX 200 slips as investors opt for caution ahead of US rates decision

The ASX 200 is at the lows of session at lunch on Wednesday as investors look ahead to a key policy announcement from the US Fed on Thursday morning Sydney time. Every sector is lower, although a turnaround for the banks as they give up early gains has made the biggest difference.
