Bold and the Beautiful sees the marriage of Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is facing a potential upheaval as Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), Finn's biological mother, returns from the dead. 

This unexpected revival instigates a civil war within the couple's relationship, given Sheila's notorious past and her contentious relationship with the Foresters and Logans. Finn insists on calling Sheila 'mom', indicating his willingness to accept her back into his life, much to Steffy's chagrin. 

Sheila's past is rife with dark deeds including kidnapping and shooting members of Steffy's family, making her acceptance into their lives a difficult task. However, the recent revelation that Sheila was attempting to save Steffy from the dangerous Sugar, and her successful act of saving Kelly Spencer from drowning, complicates matters further. This raises questions about Sheila's redemption, a topic likely to be explored in upcoming episodes. 

The upcoming narrative also hints at Finn and Steffy's ongoing disagreement about Sheila's place in their lives, potentially causing a rift in their marriage. The return of Ivy Forrester (Ashley Brewer), and a potential reconciliation between Steffy and Liam, adds another layer of complexity to the plot.
