Left of Normal Episode 63 - Questions While Conversating

There are a number of social interactions that I understand the purpose, the goal, and the end result.

 

But they don't make any sense as to why the occur... or why they're done in that manner instead of a more efficient or beneficial manner.

 

One of those is our fascination with asking pointless questions during a conversation.
