Morning Report 12 Jul 21: Key US share indexes closed at fresh record highs on Monday

Investors await the start of earnings season. Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan Chase report on Tuesday while inflation data is also released the same day. Financials rose 1.0% and real estate rose 0.9%. The Dow Jones index rose by 126 points or 0.4%. The S&P 500 index gained 0.4% and the Nasdaq index added 31 points or 0.2%.
