#103 Pt 2 – “It Doesn’t Make Me A Serial Killer”: Hung Jesus, Storytelling, Protesting & Religion In Horror With Janine Mercer

 

This week brings the second part of Janine Mercer’s return to GCC – Janine is the host of the ODDentity podcast, creator of Corvus Review, founder of PodMoth Media and friend of the show!

 

Part 2 of their chat features “hung jesus”, the combination of religiousity and legends/monsters, as well as how the perception of religion in horror has changed, Janine’s eclectic collection of artifacts and human being’s love of storytelling. The conversation then changes to a more political discussion regarding protesting, being on the wrong side of history, “white guilt”, the perception of opinions and more!

 

Last week, in part 1 of their chat, Mike & Janine’s conversation starts with a small amount of COVID/lockdown talk, before discussing Janine’s hearing issues and the weirdness of 2020 before they talk about Funko pops and the fun of collecting.
