Episode #935 - Why You Need To Know Christ Through The Church

Another TGIAF leading toward a hopefully good weekend, however Father Anthony is happy with his friend, actually our friend to all of us, Jesus himself and being helpful and there for us.  It's also been a busy, crazy day today for everyone, with so much and so many things going on possibly.  Also, we are coming to the end of June, in fact Christina is mentioning that Christmas is about 5-6 months away, only many looking forward to July coming up, however leading to confusion for a bit during the show.  A special thing to note on today's show is that Sister Anne Flanagan is going to be reporting to us on the show from London on her trip there these past few weeks, with much going on over there across the globe.  A story shared recently is with a customer who was beaten up recently in the news, raising the question again is "What has happened to us?" in terms of not helping someone, and to make matters worse, Father Anthony states people were taking pictures of this incident and posting online, while at the same time, not doing anything.  Christina is looking forward to Saturday to renew her drivers license for one thing, and the latest World Cup news, US takes on Germany.  With the Pope doing a Catechesis of the Church, that, as well as Pope Francis himself is discussed.  And as promised, during the second break, Sister Anne Flanagan comes to us with a report from London at Lester Square, providing information from the other side of the globe on various events taking place for the Church and various musicians and music.  After Sister Anne's London report, Father Anthony continues the discussion for knowing Christ, reminding us that even though we have tension and stress, there is a need for reform and reconciliation.
