Market Close 11 Nov. 2019: Mining losses unable to dampen ASX’s positive start

Losses for some heavyweight banks and miners were unable to push the broader market lower for Monday’s session. The ASX 200 still managed to rally 48 points or 0.72% to 6772.5, just over 100 points from all-time highs. Gains were rather broad based with only the materials sector in the red on a fall in iron ore. Healthcare stocks were the most improved, CSL Ltd (CSL),our largest listed health name lifted 3.5%.
