As we begin every Saturday declutter podcast, let's set your intention. So whomever or whatever is weighing heavily on your mind today, offer it up as a prayer while you declutter. Turn your work into prayer and grow closer to God every day!

Secondly, set your carrot. In other words, mix the good with the work. So I always listen to a good podcast or a juicy audible book while I clean my house. It gives me something to enjoy while I do something I don't really want to do.

Lastly, set your reward. What will you enjoy when you have decluttered for 5 minutes, wrapped up the bag and placed it in your car or your designated donation zone in your house? Just make sure you are getting these bags out of your house. We don't want to trade clutter for clutter wrapped in a bag! As you work each time to declutter, get in the habit of getting it out of your house for good! You can arrange for pick-ups from many charities too! Yes! They will come right to your house and pick up your donations!

Today we declutter jewelry. Start easy. Start with the stuff that isn't sentimental. Then as your declutter muscles grow, work on the more sentimental stuff. In this episode I share with you how I have kept and still enjoy costume jewelry from my Grandmothers. No, I don't wear it, but, I wasn't going to get rid of it either! There is a happy medium!
