Barnier vows to ensure full implementation of Withdrawal Agreement

The EU’s chief Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier says he will work very carefully to ensure the full implementation of the Brexit Withdrawal Agreement including its dimensions on Ireland.

Mr Barnier was speaking in the European Parliament in Brussels where MEPs yesterday overwhelmingly endorsed the Brexit deal. He said it was an emotional and sad occasion but that his job was and still is to ensure an orderly Brexit.
