Today I chat with Julie Lock. Julie is the Executive Director at Food Outreach, whose mission is to provide nutritional support and enhance the quality of life of men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS or cancer. Julie tells about their community support of volunteers, how their recipients receive scratch-prepared meals tailored for their individual needs, services they provide, their delivery drivers. She also tells us that kindness and openness is a requirement to work at Food Outreach, the broad meaning of food, food as medicine, an example of kindness she's experienced, and how to find out about Food Outreach!
