Wake Up TriCounties Katie Laleman from the Henry County Farm Bureau

It's Ag Safety Week March 6th through the 10th and we spoke with our friend Katie Laleman about the Safety Initiatives being highlighted all this week by the Henry County Farm Bureau. Katie also talked about a number of deadlines that are coming up for people eager to be part of Farm Bureau events. Tomorrow night at Lavender Crest Winery is the latest Market Outlook Meeting, featuring guest speaker, Illinois State Climatologist Dr. Trent Ford. The event is tomorrow night but you can still try and get a late reservation by contacting the Henry County Farm Bureau. Katie also talked about the more than $43,000 worth of scholarships being given away by the Farm Bureau this year with an application deadline of this Friday, March 10th for many of the applications. And, don't forget, the Women in Agriculture Conference is set to take place at Bally's in Rock Island on March 24th and that means that time is running out to get your reservation.
