US Mid-session Report 29 Dec 17: Quiet trading day on US markets, ASX 200 set for 7.4% gains in 2017

Overnight markets trending higher in low trade. Netflix standout up over 3%. 

 So far the Australian sharemarket (ASX 200) has lifted by 7.4 per cent so far in 2017 as we head into our late day of trade for the year.
