Well from this verse it is obvious that you can end up in Hell.

 

 

EMOTIONALLY

I have sat in my office and heard women yell and scream and cry about their husbands porn habits - AND THEY HAVE EVERY RIGHT TOO!

Before you cast stones at me and call me a heretic let me explain on a very basic visceral level. 

Here are the facts; 

men look at porn (typically women who are exceptionally beautiful and desirable) and to some degree men get something out of it. They then suffer from its affects ranging from 

low self-esteem 

Sexual dysfunction 

addiction, 

destroying intimacy in the bedroom 

Lack of trust 

lack ability to be turned on

all the while compromising and corrupting their marriage in numerous ways. 

Compare that to women who look at images in the media via magazines, movies, Internet images for advertising etc…(typically women who are exceptionally beautiful and desirable) and to some degree women get something out of it. They then suffer from its affects ranging from 

low self-esteem 

Sexual dysfunction 

addiction, 

destroying intimacy in the bedroom 

Lack of trust

lack ability to be turned on

all the while compromising and corrupting their marriage in numerous ways.

satan in his incredibly evil and perverse way… takes the root of the porn issue and re-packages it in such a way that you also struggle with it.

It has got to be tough to be a woman in today’s world. Women are exposed to thousands of images daily and the majority of them have perfect bodies, breasts and buttocks. Most images have a studio behind them that has given them an extreme make over, perfect lighting and what few blemishes are left get taken care of by Photoshop. There is no way to compete if you are using this as your standard of beauty.

So what happens to the women who constantly compare themselves to the “image factory” that the media forces down our throats? They suffer from many of the same issues that men suffer from with pornography.

Close to 20% Christian women - curiosity and comparison

BUT ON TOP OF THAT WOMEN ARE ALSO BOMBARDED AT IMAGES THAT THEY SHOULD LOOK LIKE.

SOCIAL MEDIA has now become the number one cause of low self esteem among women!

 

 

Ladies you need to start to look at yourselves the way God looks at you and not the worlds.

*when you compare yourself to the worlds standards you are telling God he failed in how he made you.

 

 

*Ladies remember at the beginning of the sermon I said if you husband tells you he struggles to not hold it against him but to fight with him… BUT You must also be willing to admit to him that your self esteem is a hindrance to your sex life and intimacy with your husband and be willing to fight for that as well.
