This is a live recording of Fr. Eric's reflection on March 19, 2023 at St. James in Colgan, Ontario focusing on the Gospel story of the man born blind (Jn 9:1-7) in the context of which he speaks about the Christian response to the problem of evil. Topics include the development of doctrine, mysteries versus problems, pastoral approaches to suffering and death, and the need to persevere in the midst of our own personal darkness with a spirit of trust and surrender to Divine Providence.
