We’re joined by 2 North Americans who live in Japan. Meet Black Pigeon Speaks, AKA Felix Rex, and Marvin Motsenbocker. They both live very different lives. While Felix tends to his pigeon friends in downtown Tokyo, Marvin is living on the island of Yugeshima, where’s he’s building a self-sustaining community. We talk a lot about the Japan expat experience, but also delve into the geopolitics of Asia, Marvin’s experience building DIY electric grids in the Congo, and how we can build a better world going forward.
