Most of the best Christmas sermons ever preached have not been preached from pulpits. They have been preached through literature, songs, and other art forms. This series explores the biblical truths illustrated by these great “sermons.” This week we look at Luke 2:1-7 to explore the way that Jesus is placed in the periphery in the Roman Empire at the time of His birth and today in beloved Christmas stories (when He is mentioned at all) and how we as Christians can solve this by clinging to the gospel and goodness of God.
