EU must end China dependence - Kelly

Europe must not be reliant on countries like India and China for the health of our citizens, Sean Kelly has warned. At the beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, the EU found it difficult to secure medical supplies because crucial components had to be imported from other parts of the world. Now the European Parliament has voted through a €5.1 billion Health4EU fund designed to bolster the response against future pandemics.
