Nathan is joined by Dr Helen Lewis, former primary teacher now teacher educator researching the best practices involving dogs in schools, and Kerry Williams-Kendall, Vice Principal at Boothroyd Primary Academy in West Yorkshire whose school received the first therapeutic school award. They talk best practice for dogs, cats and other animals in school as well as some of the challenges that need to be considered. We also hear from the Ysgol San Sior Headteacher where they sell 20,000 eggs a year and keep a farm and a menagerie of reptile as well as bees!
