The Iosco RESA Career and Technical Education Center would like to take this opportunity to recognize Christopher Dixon as “Professional Student of the Month” for March 2017. Chris is the son of Michael and Sheryl Dixon and is a senior at Oscoda High School. Chris is a second year student in the Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management Program. Chris is a second year student in the Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management Program. He is a very hardworking student who is extremely friendly and eager to help others when needed. He is very enthusiastic and passionate about the program and puts extra effort into everything he does. He plans to pursue a career in Business Management and is studying additional curriculum in order to achieve this goal. At his local high school, Chris is also involved in football and baseball.

To be nominated for “Professional Student of the Month”, a student must have outstanding work ethics, no absences or tardies for the month, no discipline issues and at least a B grade point average. Iosco RESA Tech Center offers the following programs for 11th and 12th grade students: Aircraft Maintenance, Automotive Technology, Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management, Health Science, and Power Mechanics.
