One of the leaders of a Black Lives Matter group in New York City promised an “uprising” against the city’s COVID-19 vaccine passports, decrying the system as racist.  The United Federation of Teachers (UFT), the largest teachers union in New York City (NYC), has won a battle to prevent members from getting fired if they do not wish to get a Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine, as mandated by the administration.
