Outside The Chute sat down and chatted with WBSC Men’s World Cup silver medalist and current member of the Canadian Men’s National Team, Cory Jones. Jonsey has had quite a career to date. He was a member of the 2008 Canadian Junior Team that won a silver medal in Whitehorse, was an All-Canadian in 2019 with the Grande Prairie Pirates and as mentioned, a big part of the Canadian Men’s National Team that brought home a silver from the WBSC Men’s World Cup a few month ago down in New Zealand....

We’re gonna talk to Jonesy about getting his start in the game, the influence his Dad played in his development, his lifetime contract he signed with Grande Prairie that he doesn’t really recall, of course, the World Cup and much, much more.

Jonesy was an absolute pleasure to chat with. Hopey and I are excited to see what kind of big moments lie ahead for him. Just as long as it isn’t against the Mastodons this summer at Nats, hopefully it's all good.
