Dermatologist Dr. Debbie Palmer is a leader in the fields of topical and oral antioxidants and their ability to protect and repair damage caused by free radical production. As the founder and creator of REPLERE, a natural, antioxidant-based skincare line, Dr. Palmer is widely respected for her expertise as one of the country’s leading experts in the field of antioxidants and how they can improve the health and appearance of the skin.
As a leading advocate of the standardization of antioxidants in skincare through a measurement system called ORAC, Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity, Dr. Palmer is the first to use this method of antioxidant standardization in her line of REPLERE skincare products. Dr. Palmer is also one of only several hundred dermatologists in the country also trained in osteopathic medicine. This holistic philosophy and approach relates each part of the body to the entire system which she uses in her private practice, Dermatology Associates of New York, as well.
Besides having her own practice and skincare line, Dr. Palmer is co-author of The Dermatologists’ Prescription for a New You!, and has some of her most notable work published in top medical journals, Cutis and Journal of Drugs in Dermatology. She is a fellow and active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, and the American Osteopathic Association, and also speaks at several international medical conferences.
Dr. Palmer has her medical degree summa cum laude from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bioscience, and completed her residency in dermatology at St Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan. Dr. Palmer currently resides in Connecticut with her husband and two young children.
