Sermon - August 26, 2018 - Preserved by God’s Promises

The sermon for Sunday, August 26, 2018, is based on 1 Kings 19:3-8

 

Today's Focus: Jesus encourages us to drive away despair in our lives by listening to his life giving promises.  But when we pay more attention to our own feelings or reason than his promises, it is easy to become depressed and fall into despair.  If we only rely on what our limited eyes can see or limited minds can sense, we might miss the Bread of Life that will feed our souls forever.  Come and listen to his promises and feast on the Bread of Life, which drives despair away.
