You can create delay in your own life, based on your obedience or disobedience. You can miss God's plan for you; but, it won't stop God's overall and overarching plan, because it's on his calendar. So we have to keep in mind that there is a difference between God's sovereignty and our right to choose; and, how those play together. God doesn't have to stop one to do the other. He can do them all at the same.
