Mid-Session 22 Mar 18: Local market slips as telcos & banks decline

The local sharemarket is weaker at mid-session, held back by falls from the financial and telco sectors. Energy & mining stocks though are outperforming, recovering some recent losses. Overnight, the US Federal Reserve raised its benchmark interest rate, as expected.
