Dunnottar Primary School have been working hard on a ' Kindness project' This resulted in a video -'Be The Nice Kid' based on the movie The Greatest Showman. The school were greatly encouraged when Hugh Jackman who plays PT Barnum in The Hollywood film praised Dunnottar School in a tweet.
CFINE was amazed with the scale of response to the winter appeal for the food bank. Compared to last year, the Food Bank received x7 in terms of food donations about 15-20 tonnes. This will enable CFINE to make it through to March when they will be seeking more donations.
TheraPets run by Canine Concern Scotland Trust has been giving hope and pleasure to patients in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Volunteers and their pets go into visit patients and allow patients to stroke the pets.
A cycling enthusiast - Bob Smith who had to give up cycling in 2003 due to glaucoma has been able to get back some of that independence thanks to staff from VSA run Westerton Crescent Care Home. The staff were happy to purchase a special tandem bike from Holland. Bob Smith was delighted to be back out again
