Beyond the Gates on CBS gives the exciting guest appearance of Karen Huger from Real Housewives of Potomac. This inclusion is part of an influx of guest stars, providing a fresh and diverse cast to the well-loved show. Karen Huger shares a scene with the notorious home-wrecker character, Hayley Lawson (Marquita Goings). In major storylines, lead character Dani Dupree (Karla Mosley) deals with the fallout of her husband, Bill Hamilton's (Timon Kyle Durrett) infidelity with Hayley. However, Hayley isn't warmly welcomed into the affluent neighborhood, as emphasized by Karen Huger's iconic line to her "Welcome to Fairmont Crest."

Beyond the Gates other casting news gives John Lindstrom and Cady McClain, known for their roles in General Hospital and Days of Our Lives respectively, have been brought onboard. Lindstrom will play the mayor's husband, Joey Armstrong, while McClain will portray Pamela Curtis, a longtime friend of Dani. 

BTG also teases a fascinating look into the lives of the interracial gay couple, Congressman Martin Richardson (Brandon Claybon) and his husband Bradley Smith (Mike Manning), who live Beyond the Gates.
