Episode # 915 - The Feast Of The Ascension

Today is the completion/end or near the end of the Easter Season because today is the Feast of the Ascension and Father Anthony opens the show with reminding us all what is coming in terms of upcoming days of importance to prayer and others dealing with the Ascension of Christ.  Everyone wishes Gerri well, who for all you loyal listeners is doing well and great, and say hi to her.  Also, what is raised is also more on technology in our world and the children's mass this morning in dealing with the Ascension and with all this in mind, the graduation (or whatever it is called in the times today) of Junior High, High School, and College students is shared, relating to discussing the sign of the times today and raising the idea of young vs old, or the feeling of being young and/or old.  After the first break, not only is the Upcoming Healing Mass discussed, but further looking into the Feast of the Ascension itself, not only in the readings from today, but also dealing with recent graduates, as well as continuing into the future and in the future and dealing with death, described by sharing stories about situations.  It is also mentioned how we as disciples of Jesus, not only our relationship with him in terms of family, but also ascending to Heaven as well, with Father Anthony talking about not only this in terms of family, but in relation to dealing with evil, but also a letter from Paul.
