Mid-Session 25 Nov 16: Market gaining ground as mining & energy stocks rise

The ASX 200 is up 0.2% boosted by strong gains from the Materials, Energy and Consumer Discretionary sectors. US markets were closed overnight for the Thanksgiving holiday.
