Days of Our Lives returns with Belle Black (Martha Madison) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) reigniting their old flame. However, EJ's shady past might cost him everything. Belle visits Salem for her parents' anniversary, catching her mom, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), up on her life developments since her husband, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer), left Salem. Belle and EJ had a short fling before Sammy Brady (Alison Sweeney) came back to town on the NBC Peacock soap opera. 

DOOL spoilers see Belle is back to stay for a while and plans on seeing what life is like without Shawn. At the DiMera Mansion, Belle has a tense encounter with EJ. A revisit to the origin story of Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) stirs up old wounds when he finds out about his father's dark past. The resurrection of EJ's past could potentially wreck his life, and he may lose Belle and Johnny. Belle, who might still be involved with EJ, has to decide whether she believes EJ has changed or if she should leave him.
