Mid-Session 30 Jul 20: ASX holding onto gains at lunch

Local shares remain firmer around midday even as Victoria reported a record 723 daily Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours. Gains have been rather broad based with the local tech sector leading improvements. Heavyweight bank & mining stocks are also adding to broader moves higher.
