Mid-Session 16 July 19: ASX 200 trades in a narrow range as miners lead gains and energy names fall

The ASX 200 traded in mixed fashion in early trade on Tuesday. Banks weighed on the Index, with all four of the big lenders in the red. Energy stocks followed oil prices lower, while iron miners benefitted from a 2.4% jump in iron ore prices in the last day.
