Eileen Forrestal is the founder of the wildly popular Get Up & Go diaries and the author of the newly published memoir, The Courage To Shine. 

Based in beautiful County Sligo, she is a champion of good health and wellbeing and is in the business of inspiring people through her publishing work. 

Eileen moved into publishing after a long career as the consultant anaesthetist at Sligo General Hospital, in her own words: “After twenty years of 'putting people to sleep' I am now in the business of waking people up!!’
