The man who wants to turn footsteps into eyeballs

Laurence Kemball Cook launched his kinetic energy producing, data collecting tile from his bedroom in 2009. Just seven years later the tiles have been laid in front of the White House and are about to become a major feature at Westfield’s White City shopping centre in west London and part of Transport for London’s ambitions to create one of London’s greenest streets just off its most congested – Oxford Street.
