Aetiology and management of malnutrition in HIV-positive children

Managing even uncomplicated HIV infection is a major undertaking. When compounded by nutritional compromise, as it so often is, it becomes many times more complex. When the two co-exist, mortality rises exponentially so awareness, prevention, early identification and aggressive management are essential.
