Profiles of Endurance ~ Nell Stokes

Little 6-year-old Nell Stokes, a black girl living in Montgomery, Alabama, learned a heartbreaking lesson about racism when she was betrayed by her white best friend on the first day of school.  It began her lifelong work for racial justice and the promotion of a fair and nonviolent society.  Listen as this activist, poet, playwright, woman of faith and mother of six shares her perspective on how we can overcome systemic racism in our beloved country.
