Wake Up Tri-Counties Galva Mayor Rich Volkert

Galva Mayor Rich Volkert joined Wake Up Tri-Counties on Wednesday to wrap up Monday's Galva City Council Meeting. The lengthy meeting featured several presentations to the Council including hearing about a cancelled plan for a CO2 Pipeline that would have traveled through Galva and a second CO2 pipeline project that has recently faced local opposition. This pipeline would not go directly through Galva but would pass along city lines, close enough for Galva residents to have genuine safety concerns and concerns regarding the use of Eminent Domain to take land from land owners to be used for the pipeline.
