Ireland can’t become collateral damage of Brexit – Verhofstadt

The European Parliament’s chief Brexit coordinator this morning said that Ireland cannot become the collateral damage of Brexit. Guy Verhofstadt was speaking during a debate on Brexit ahead of a vote today by MEPs on a resolution to allow the Brexit negotiations to proceed to the next phase.
