Susie Schwartz was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at nine-years-old and has been collecting additional illnesses since. Resilient through the countless appointments and treatments, Susie finds her profession of writing and music to be therapeutic outlets. A Canadian living in the UK, she recently published the book Help the Doctor Help You which can help anyone navigate through healthcare.
