US Mid-session 16 Feb 18: Steady as she goes, Cisco bumper result

Overnight the US markets have followed the lead from Asian and European markets higher. A solid profit result from Cisco systems and technology stocks continuing ot rally higher have offset the continued slide in energy stocks.
